Camp Hope for Peace in the Middle East - Hosted by the American Friends Service Committee

Join us at the intersection of East Hyde Park Boulevard and South Drexel Avenue to help us erect a memorial to all those who have been killed in the Gaza Crisis, paint a mural of hope for peace in the Middle East and send video messages to the people of Gaza.
8 am to 2 pm - Paint a mural for Peace in the Middle East
1 pm - Press Conference
12 pm to 4 pm - Send a personal video message to the people Gaza,
bring flowers to help us commemorate those killed, bring cell phones to make phone calls to President-elect Obama's transition team and to Senator Richard Durbin's office.

Then reconvene at Grace Place, 637 S. Dearborn at 5 pm for American Friends Service Committee Open House (AFSC.) Come learn about our programs, meet other activists, and get involved.
