Join us for a presentaion by community leaders Rosie Carrasco from Chicago Metropolitan Sactuary Alliance, James Thindwa of Chicago Jobs with Justice and leaders from Voces de Frontera Milwaukee.

We will provide opportunities to listen to testimonies from those directly affected by our current immigration and labor policies, to participate in discussion circles about our hopes for President-elect Obama's administration, and end with a call to action!

The Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition is a group of interfaith religious leaders and participating congregations, called by faith to respond actively and publicly to the suffering of our immigrant brothers and sisters residing in the United States.

Chicago Jobs With Justice (JWJ) is a labor-community coalition that aims to improve working people’s standards of living, fight for job security, and stand up for workers’ right to organize.
