Join the Immigrant and Human Rights Community, Labor, Faith-Based and Community Organizations at Camp Hope

The vigil presence at Camp Hope will be staffed by a large coalition of faith based and secular organizations who advocate for immigrant and worker's rights.
The Sponsoring Groups: 8th Day Center for Justice, Chicago Interfaith Committee on Worker Issues, Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition, Chicago Worker’s Collaborative, Jobs with Justice, Latino Organization of the Southwest, Latino Union, March 10th Movement, Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, Sisters of Mercy, and Voces de la Frontera.
While these organizations populate the camp, they will sing, pray, offer reflections and provide the opportunity for those affected by the unjust policies currently in place to tell their own stories.
Please, bring signs, banners, noise makers, musical instruments, a favorite poem or prayer, a passion for human rights and your singing voice to support President-elect Obama in his work to create just policies for immigrants and workers.

Concurrently there will be a 9 mile procession From Little Village to Camp Hope.
10:30am Beginning with a press conference at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Little Village, we will walk 9 miles to the Camp Hope Vigil site arriving at
5:00pm for additional press conference and welcoming celebration at Camp Hope.
5:30pm Procession to University Church, 5655 S. University Ave. for the evening forum.
