Wash and Exfoliate Your Skin Daily

Wash your face daily to help remove the dirt and debris that clog the skin’s pores. It is best to use an exfoliating body scrub, which helps to gently rub away the dead skin cells and reveal a brighter, newer surface. It is also helpful to exfoliate the skin using a special exfoliant one to two times per week. Pieces of fruit extract, jojoba beads, alpha hydroxy acids (a chemical exfoliant) and a face brush all make good exfoliants.

Keep Your Skin Moisturized

Dry skin can lead to skin peeling, acne, and eczema, so make sure that your skin gets the amount of moisture that it needs.
• Always dry your face well and with a clean towel after washing it; leaving your face wet will cause your skin to dry out.
• After washing your face, apply a high-quality moisturizer or face serum to your skin. Use one that is oil-free, gentle on the skin and has natural ingredients. It may take a few tries to find the face skin care products that are good for your skin.

Stay Away from Foundation Makeup

It may be tempting to conceal your minor blemishes in a layer of makeup, but it’s almost never worth it. Face makeup clogs the skin’s pores with junk and often irritates the skin and leads to acne breakouts. If you want healthy skin, it is best to stay away from foundation altogether. If you just can’t part from your makeup, at least don’t wear it on very hot days or when your exercising, because when you sweat the skin pores open up and will absorb all the dirt on the skin’s surface. Only use a foundation that is oil free, hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin. Wash off all of your foundation with a cleanser or cleansing oil as soon as you are able to and at least before you go to sleep.
